Blue Star is the first only tequila that is night harvested. Night harvesting is important because: 

A the agave pineapple (pina) is rested, it is out of the stress of the sun and heat, and is not using its sugars to fight off those elements. This adds a unique, fuller flavour profile to our premium tequila.

B We care for our field workers – the jimadors – who normally work in the hot Jalisco sun, sometimes at 100 degrees. When harvesting Blue Star our jimadors enjoy working at a much cooler comfortable temperature.

– Blue Star is additive-free. We harvest our agave from many different fields of varying agave ages. This allows us to select our Agave with the right sugars and flavors profiles, so we don’t need to add and sweeteners or other additives.

– Blue Star Tequila is unfiltered. Our master distiller, Ricardo Torres-Martin believes and I do, that the agave is a gift to the Mexican people, from God. We leave it as God intended. We do not alter its intrinsic, God-given qualities. Put a glass of Blanco, Reposado, Reposado Honey, or our Anejo up against any other tequila at any price and compare its clarity, its natural rich colors, and then taste. Blue Star is, in every way, the way tequila should be made!
